Imposer Pro is a plug-in for Adobe InDesign that imposes pages into printer flats. Imposer Pro offers six sheet types (2-Up, 4-Up, 8-Up, 2-Up Consecutive, 3-Up Consecutive, and 4-Up Consecutive), four binding types (Saddle Stitch, Perfect Bound, Stacked, and None) and five imposition types (Standard, Work and Turn, Work and Tumble, Split Web, and Sheet Wise).
You can use different imposition methods for the same document by choosing which pages to impose and how many signatures to create. Impose multiple documents from an Adobe InDesign book and even save settings as an Imposer Pro style for consistency and ease of use across documents.
Imposer Pro also gives you the ability to impose multiple documents from an Adobe InDesign book, thus eliminating the single document imposition limit.
Imposer Pro compensates for bleed, creep, crossover trapping, number of sheets, plate margins, page gaps, and spread gaps, according to your specifications.
You can also use Imposer Pro to add printer’s marks, including crop marks, registration marks, bleed marks, gray bars, color bars, page information, and custom text. In addition, Imposer Pro lets you print documents in tiles.
Save imposed documents as separate InDesign files or handle all the imposition in the print stream, leaving the document itself untouched. Either way, you don’t need to add, shuffle, or rotate pages.
